We were visiting Austin for the solar eclipse. Realizing it was peak bluebonnet time we searched nearby areas to see them. This is a lovely family park with play structures, flush toilets, walking/biking paths, a river and bluebonnets! Off we walked and we saw lots of flowers and a snake so be careful!

Beautiful. Cleverly designed. Well maintained. This park features a series of granite and concrete hike and bike trails that stretch for miles along Brushy Creek - from SH183 to IH35. The centerpiece of this trail system is the sparkling Brushy Creek Lake, just off of Parmer Rd. The Lake section of the park has several picnic pavilions, restrooms, BBQ grills, and even a splash pad, all scattered under the shade of an oak grove above the lake. Bring a picnic!

Well done trails allowing you to walk a hard surface or take off on dirt paths. You can tailor you walk to various lengths with mileage markers along the way. The hard surface is shared by walkers and bikers but there is plenty of room for both. Parts of the path are shaded but parts are in open sun so be prepared. You can walk your dogs as well but must be on leash.

This is a great park for kids. There's a nice playground (shaded!) and a splash pad. Our two-year-old had a blast. There are also walking trails and kayak rentals.

This park is huge , with the renovation is getting better. It connects to Round Rock and 183A (the end of YMCA) Lots of trails to walk or ride your bike. It has a kayak rental, an other water rentals. Lots of picnic tables, water kiddy area, swings, volleyball court, and more. You will see a lot of Doggos there. It is a pet friendly park!

We were looking for a place to walk during our recent stay in Cedar Park. This is a great place with walking and biking trails galore. There was lake access for your kayak and a water feature for the tots. We didn't get to explore the entire park but what we saw was terrific.

I come to this park often along with the other parks chained along the Brushy Creek hike/bike trail. It is pretty with the water and trees. I've also come here with a picnic on occasion with my family.

Just a great asset to the Cedar Park and the whole area!

No matter your outdoor activity you will find an entertaining activity to relax or get exercise here. Here are some of the activities: picnic in the pavilions, BBQ, canoe & kayak, fish, bocce, kids fountains, nature hikes, running trails, mtn biking trails, streams/lakes/creeks, disc golf, football, softball, baseball and soccer. You name it...it's here. Whether you want to exercise, relax or participate in team activities there is something here for you.

I play one of two outdoor bocce courts that are the best in the city of Austin. If your hosting a gathering then you can reserve a pavilion with an outdoor grill next to it. Want to go kayaking or canoeing then rent a single or tandem by the hour. Bring your own bait, rod-N-reel and try your luck at large mouth bass, various perch/sunfish and croppy.

The hiking and mtn biking trails go for miles with short single track/switch backs that branch out from time to time from the main trail. There is plenty of parking and it is very easy to get into the park and pull out in your vehicle because the of the divided road which runs along the park.
