It was a wonderful experience to step back in time and see the dinosaur tracks. They are very well preserved and there are a lot of them! The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. I love how the whole thing has been professionally studied and the presentation is well done and informative.

I wanted to take more time looking around the museum but the lady who works there would not leave us alone! She kept making conversation and didn’t pick up in our signals that we wanted to be alone to view the exhibit. I feel bad because she is so nice.

Dinosaur Tracks and an interesting story. Great stop on a rainy or cooler day to spend some time while in the Canyon Lake area. We were looking for off the beaten track locations and this fits that. We also walked the gorge washed out when the dam over flowed and that is nearby and worth the time as well.

My 4 boys loved their visit. It started raining but the dinosaur tracks are covered so it wasn't too bad. Didn't get the walk around the grounds because of the rain. What saved day for my boys is what they found in the small museum gift shop. Each of my boys got their own dinosaur track replica that looks real. They are made from some type of stone and have different color finishes. They do look cool on display in their rooms. Even with the rain we had a very good time and I recomend this museum for any family with kids.

I have always wanted to see dinosaur footprints and this is one place to see them. This little museum has arrowhead collections and various other things of interest pertaining to the Hill Country area. Really enjoyed this place.

We had a great time checking out the dino tracks and fossil digging area. My 7 and 4 year olds loved checking out the dinosaur statues. Highly recommend!

We stopped in and found it was just "so so" and won't be back. Don't read too much into that as it is not a bad place and the folks running it were very polite and professional and I think outstanding persons.

The problem is the material they have to work with. I would put it on par with a Children's Museum for elementary aged and younger children.

However being from the big city (Houston) and having traveled the world I may be judging them too harshly.

If you want to see Dino tracks you can head to the Canyon Lake Dam and tour the land exposed after the last flood. If you want to see some practical Texas history a tour of the LBJ Ranch parks (Texas and National) will give you more for free and the drive is great.

There is nothing bad to say about this place but on balance in my opinion it is bland and a time filler if you have kids and nothing better to do for a hour or two. For mom and dad and older children personally I would take a pass.

I was looking for places to go to while on vacation. I found this place and decided to give it a try. Went on an educated tour of the property and then went inside and saw native American items and other items from older times around the area.

This is a great place to visit with children who love dinosaurs! Our 3 yr. old had a blast seeing the dinosaur tracks, stomping through the Cretaceous garden, and digging in the Dino pit. Our tour guide, Lelo, was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the tracks and the dinosaurs who created them. The tracks are covered to help prevent erosion and makes looking at the tracks much more comfortable. They have lots of trails to explore to see more tracks that have been discovered more recently. In addition, they have a Native American exhibit inside and pioneer exhibit. We had a blast and can’t wait to go back!
