I visited Canyon Lake for a few hours to site see. Very picturesque and relaxing. There are plenty of areas for setting camp to enjoy with family and friends. The drive through Hill country is also smooth.

Our first time visiting this park. We found conditions terrible. There were dirty diapers floating in the water, along with pieces of styrofoam floating around and broken glass on the lake bed. People had pulled the park benches into the water and there was little to no supervision of young children. Security patrols seemed uninterested in the situation and only... More

My family and close friends went out to Canyon Lake this past Sunday-Tuesday for a mini-vacation not too far from home. We had a reservation for two cabins. A cabin had two rooms (total of five beds), one bathroom, kitchen/dining area, living room, and patio out back. The facilities were clean and well maintained. There was plenty of space for... More

we had a great time with the family for a day picnic. Water was cold so we couldn't get in but we enjoyed the view anyway.

I love going to the lake and spend the whole day for fun. I sometimes go to the dam part because it's free but still very enjoyable.

I came at the end of the day just to drive through and look. It was well-worth the $7 entry fee per vehicle. The park was very clean and has a large beach area and a panoramic view of the scenery. There were many families out there enjoying the beach and view.

We are retired military, but this recreational facility on Jacob's Creek Park is fabulous. Right now, the water is quite high due to all of the rains, but there is a nice roped off area for swimming, and you can rent boats, and all other types of water craft here. The rental cabins are great value also.

This is where we have always gone at Canyon Lake. Just beautiful. The water and the sights are kept up nicely. It is the best spot at Canyon hands down.

the kids had a lovely time at the little beach at Jacob's Creek Park. We did see few broken glass pieces and beer cans strewn around. Note - The parking machine only accepts exact change of 7$, does not take credit card or coins! Please be sure to carry change. there are lots of grills and you can carry a... More

My wife and I spent the morning visiting this park as we toured Canyon Lake. We were surprised to find there was a charge, especially as we were the only visitors in the parking lot. There were plenty of picnic benches and barbeque stands for anyone wanting to eat outdoors. We walked back up towards the barrier, and accidentally encountered... More
