i don't go there for the beach. at the end where the drop-off is, is where you want to be. easy access to the island, good place to kayak or paddleboard and jump off bigs rocks into the water.

I realize the water level is down about 20 feet, but the garbage (diapers, bottles, plates) that were all around is just gross. I'd heard great things about Canyon Lake, but I saw nothing good about it.
