Being seniors our hiking trails are limited. This gave us the opportunity to see so much more & learn so much of the history of the area. The guide was really good. The ride is in a suburban w/o doors & seatbelst that don't work too well so hang on... We took the 2-1/2 hr. trip & are so glad... More

The trip into the canyon was very pretty, and the guide although young had a good knowledge of the area and stories he had been told by his Father and Grandfather who also had served as guides for the ranch. The problem that we had is that they tried to pack as many people into the jeep as it would... More

We took the 1 hour trip and went down narrow bumpy trails in a door-less jeep right on the edges of the canyon. In response to another review I saw, yes, it is for sale for 6.5 million, however business continues until someone comes up with that sum. That part of the canyon has been in their family for many... We took the 3 hour trip and enjoyed every minutes of it. It is highly recommended for people who like to explore but don't want to do the hiking. Call ahead, have some cash with you as they only accept cash.

Close up and personal! The "Jeep" (actually modified Suburbans) tour is a fun way to become involved with the wonderful geology, flora, and fauna. We did the two hour "Spring" tour and because it was such fun wished we had signed up for the three hour one that reaches the very bottom of the canyon. Two "Jeeps" two couples each.... More

This was a last minute experience of Palo Duro Canyon for the two of us. As seniors, we were not sure this was for us, we took the risk. And what an experience it was for us. Fantastic! We were well taken care of and the staff was more informative and fun than we ever expected. Don't miss this. The... More

Took the 3hour tour and enjoyed every minute, was worth the price! Don was a great driver, told lots of stories of the area and was able to answer every question we had. Keep your arms inside the no-door Surburban cuz the twists and drops along the "road" will have you grabbing onto something. Dusty and hot on our July... More

We called and made reservations and made the trek up from DFW to take the jeep ride. All was Ok until we arrived and then we found out that the driver had called in sick and that the tour would not be available. What happed to plan B? Surely they could have found someone else to drive. We had a... More
