This is a wonderful area to take a walk, hike or mountain bike up to Rivington Pike or out onto the moors. The Tower itself is average only in that is is closed off, surrounded by chain fencing and warning signs, along with a large...More

An interesting structure which is currently under restoration. On the edge of the formal gardens area and with extensive views over the moors and wider area. Rough underfoot.

It's hard not to notice the tower when passing through Rivington. The tower was built in 1910 by Lord Leverhulme and still stands tall today.
