My friends and I were heading to Austin, saw the sign and had to make stop to check it out. The lavender was not in bloom so there was not much to see or do. The gift shop offered lavender lemonade which was very tasty...More

We are so glad that you came out to the farm even though the new fields are not yet ready. We are hoping for dryer weather so that all of the new plants can finally get established. This is our third year to replant the...More

Disappointing. Not much to look at. The lavender ice cream was good. The few of us that went, decided it wasn't worth the trip back

We had read that they had suffered a loss of most of their fields but I still wanted to go visit to see how it was laid out. When I entered the gift shop the staff could have cared less that there was a customer...More

It's always disheartening when we find out that someone had a bad experience at our farm or in our gift shop. We try to make every customer feel very welcome when they come in. I printed off your comment and we plan to present it...More

What a pleasant experience. Although there was not much lavender to be walked through it was interesting to see how it's planted, etc. We were able to purchase some plants to take back home which we were very pleased about. They have a cute gazebo...More

If you have been to any lavender farm pretty much anywhere in the world you can save yourself some time by not visiting here. There were perhaps a total of under 100 plants in the ground and it seems obvious that growing conditions here are...More

You are correct. Texas (Houston area) is not the arid dry climate that the lavender enjoys. But we love the plant and the amazing properties that it provides to improve our overall health. We have been growing now for 14 years so we have seen...More

I have only been once and it was during the Lavender Festival. It was great as there were lots of vendors with things that I wanted to buy and all types of lavender plants. There is a gift shop on premise. During the festival they...More

I went to CHLF in early April so the lavender was not ready yet. I did walk the fields (two or three smallish fields-there could have been more though) but the lavender was green, not purple. I spent my time walking through the fields and...More

Sadly, the lavender wasn't blooming when I was there but the staff is very friendly and willing to answer questions. They have a gift shop with a good selection of lavender products.

We try to make every visitor to the farm feel like they are the only ones! We are hoping for better success this year in the fields. Continue to check our website under "blooming update" for the best source of information regarding the blooming.

If you're looking for soap, jelly, lotion, lemonade...anything with lavendar, then stop by. Cute little shop. Has a few handmade items to purchase too. Have been 3 times but have never seen the actual lavendar farm. It's always been dried up or already picked.
