This tiny lake has parks at its north and south entrances. Camping sites, rv spaces, anc cabins for overnight stays. The bath house are well maintained. Plenty of picnic sites and swimming beaches make this a fun family stop.

Love the lake, has several roped off areas for swimmers by the beach. Some of the best fishing for catfish around central Texas.

Suddenly the surrounding parts of it are still coming back but it is a very nice lake I can see a lot of people taking advantage of the fishing and boating.

Pet friendly but must remain on leash at all times. No dog park enclosure. There is a dog park located between the police station and Tractor supply in the city of Bastrop. It has a large and small dog area.
