This place was not difficult to find and was quite interesting to view. Very picturesque. Alongside a road but plenty of parking.

Driving to English Mountain Trout Farm and saw this place. Stopped and took several pictures, however, no one around while we were there.

This mill is very simple, but beautifully built. I love the setting (in the woods, across the stream). Just a peaceful place with a beautiful old mill. I enjoyed seeing the craftsmanship of the building and the overall quite surroundings. It is a great location for a stroll through the woods as well.

We love old mills and this was a very old one. It is not a running mill, but it had some recent work on it so, possibly, that is what they are going to do.

Not much to see, but I think it's being restored. We took lots of photos. What a neat part of the local history! Worth the short hop off the main road to get there.

I've lived and worked in the area my entire life and didn't know this existed! About a 15 minute drive from downtown Sevierville. Close to Bush's Beans Visitors center and museum. It's a beautiful piece of history. Though the mill and parking area are still under construction, we were able to get some great photos. I look forward to returning... More

I really wanted to see this old mill in operation, but they are still doing some repair work. It has an overshoot for the water to go into the large wheel on the side. Will have to make a return trip in the spring to see if repairs are finished and watch the operation.

Came upon this old mill while heading to the Forbidden Caverns and had to stop to get a couple of pictures. This is a well maintained structure built in 1800 and if you're in the area, I definitely suggest it for photos!
