I was looking forward to a weekend getaway to relax and we usually go to Splash Country but decided to give Wilderness a try since some friends and family liked their stay here. Considering the cost and the fact that we would could enjoy the waterpark indoors in case it rains (which was in the forecast) and convenience of having... More

We had the Presidential suit with 15 family members and had more than enough room and the watermark was great for the kids and the adults! Such a nice place and the view of the Smoky mountains were breathetaking! We will definitely be back!

The grandkids put down their electronic devices long enough to enjoy the water park, which was a miracle. We stayed at the condo on site and had a great family vacation.

We were here for a competition taking place at the Sevierville Convention Center which is attached to the Stone Hill Lodge. This was our third stay at Wilderness and second time in the Stone Hill Lodge with a group rate. I guess things have deteriorated because I found myself hoping that our competition was not here again next year. I... More

We had a great time in the water park but was unable to slip at night because of the noise in the hotel. There was only one security guard watching three hotels. We were there at the same time as 480 teenagers with no parents with them. We complained every night to the manager but nothing they could do.

If you are looking for a hotel that has quite a few activities to do on property Wilderness at the Smokies is a good choice. Huge indoor and outdoor water park as well as an arcade for the kids. I thought the pool was very crowded every time we went to use the pool. Room was okay, I've stayed in... More

This is probably the most difficult review I've ever written, because the water parks and the hotel itself was very nice. It is the attitude of 90% of the staff that made it difficult to bear at times. #1 We were excited when they allowed us to check-in to our room at 12:30p shortly after arriving when check-in is not... We've vacationed here for the past 4 or 5 years and we always have a great time. If you plan on doing any of the dry, indoor stuff, be sure to get the all stay passes. That lets you do Tree Top Towers, bowling, putt putt golf, the rock climbing wall and the bouncy frog unlimited times. It also gets... More

Property has several water park options great for kids of all ages as well as many other actiivities-bowling, arcade, laser tag..Eric. These are all things we didn't do because we have a 2 year old but would be great for families with children ranging in age. The recreational amenities and variety was really good. I saw a couple of shortcomings... More

Following are the things we loved, what we didn't love and a brief comparison to the great wolf lodge. Wilderness was a great waterpark. Lots of slides, lazy river, both indoor and outdoor waterparks, plus a smaller waterpark at the stone hill lodge (the second hotel building across the street). Also, there is an indoor arcade and adventure (dry) park... More
