This is a very clean and well maintained city park. It has a wonderful dog area and trails that can take you for miles. We saw lots of birds and other wild life. It also has restrooms by the ball fields.

Wonderful dog park. Clean and well maintained. Has lots of grass and also a large mulched area. There are benches for the humans and agility equipment for the dogs

There were 3 kids 10 and under and 2 adults. Total admission was only $22. There is a water slide, diving board, splash park, concession stand and lots of life guards. What a gem! Plus a HUGE play area which is free.

Employees of Sevierville are building a new play ground next to a brand new, open, dog walk place. Its underway. It will be wonderful. The waterslides and pool remain unchanged and fabulous!

Anyone traveling with kids knows the value of a good park. This one has a terrific castle playground and is very clean and safe. Plus there is a river nearby and decent views of the mountains.

This place is one of our favorite places to visit when on summer vacation in the Smokies region. The aquatic center is AMAZING. I almost wish I could keep this place a secret! They have a fun splash pad with sprinklers and little buckets that dump water for the little kids. They have 2 small waterslides for the bigger kids. They also have a HUGE swimming pool. It has to be Olympic size. It starts at 2 feet and goes up to 12 feet with a diving board. The shallow end has a walk in ramp which is great for toddlers.
They have a handful of covered cabanas, some table sets with umbrellas and lounge chairs. Seating is limited so get there early IF you want a shaded seat or table. I believe there are about 7 table and chair sets with cabanas, 6 table and chair sets with an umbrella and 2-3 larger cabana seating areas with one table and chair set underneath it.
There is an on site concession stand that sells hot dogs, ice cream, soda, chips, pickles, nachos with cheese, etc. I had one hot dog and an order of nachos with cheese this past visit. The food was good and priced reasonably ($6.25). They put a LOT of cheese on the nachos, which was great! Traditional condiments available for the hot dog or for an additional charge you can add chili & cheese .
There is also a bath house and restrooms on location. They seemed fairly clean.
Next to the aquatic park is a large wooden kids playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball field, walking trail, picnic tables & picnic pavilions.
Overall a great hidden gem. For our whole family to go to the Aquatic park for a day, we spent well under the cost of admission for even just ONE person to go to Dolly's waterpark! Sure it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a huge waterpark, but it met all of our needs and our kids loved it! Not to mention that the pools were clean and well staffed with life guards.
Tip: Kids under 4 are free. Seniors get a discount, as do non-swimming spectators.
Note: Hours are 11am-5pm most days, but Sunday has shorter hours of only 1pm-5pm.

I am so glad that we found this city park. It is a hidden gem in the Smokies region.
The Sevierville City Park includes the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center, the Mt Ton of Fun Playground, basketball courts, a ball field, tennis courts, picnic pavilions and green areas. The park is free to visit, with the exception of the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center. There is a large parking lot with FREE parking as well.
We went to the park with the intentions of visiting the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center with the kids. We got there around 11:45am on a Thursday morning. The place was already beginning to fill up, but was not too bad. We approached the ticket booth and were handed some printed information on the aquatic center (hours of operation, fees). We purchased our admission, which was only $10. Adults are $5 each. Children 3 yrs and under are FREE. Kids 4-12 are $4 and spectators are $2.50. Swim diapers are required IF your child is not potty trained & available for purchase ($1 each).
Once inside the Aquatic Center, we found a lounge chair that was open. There are a few covered cabana type areas with patio sets, but they were already taken. So, if you want one of those, I recommend getting there right when they open.
The Aquatic Center has a really nice kids splash pad with a shallow wading pool, small buckets that dump water, children's play fountains and things that spray water. There are also 2 small waterslides. The slides are not that powerful, so I would say that they are more geared towards the kids. They also have a really nice 25-meter pool that starts at 2 feet and goes to 12 feet deep. The pool has a diving board too.
Inside the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center, they have a bath house with a few showers, sinks and toilets. Housed in the same building is the Sevierville City Park Concession stand. They sell hot dogs, nachos and cheese, ice cream, sodas, chips, Gatorade, bottled water and pickles. I saw a lot of people buying the nachos and cheese. Prices seemed reasonable especially IF you were to compare it to water park prices!!
We had a really great time at the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center. The kids loved it. The place seemed clean. They had lifeguards in each section & they seemed attentive. We loved the kids splash pad and the fact that the pool started at 2 feet. This enabled our toddlers to get into the "big" pool and still be able to stand! That was a real treat since most pools start at 3 or 4 feet deep!
Once we were done playing at the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center, we stopped by the ticket booth & inquired about what to do in case we wanted to return later in the day. They had a hand stamp that would allow re-entry. So, we got our hands stamped & went to play on the Mt Ton of Fun Playground that is right next door.
The Mt Ton of Fun Playground is HUGE. It is a really nice playground that has 2 play areas, one for toddlers and one for bigger kids. They had baby swings, a slide, lots of wooden structures in various shapes (castle, truck, train), monkey bar type handles and rubber bridges. It was such a nice playground! The only thing that I do not recall seeing are swings for the big kids. Our toddlers had fun here. It was a nice place to stretch the legs and run around. There is NO charge to visit the playground area.
Overall, we had a wonderful day visiting the Sevierville City Park. We enjoyed both the Sevierville Family Aquatic Center & the Mt Ton of Fun Playground. We would definitely recommend it and will no doubt be returning to this city park for MANY years to come.

When I first moved here, we took our kids there all of the time. Now with grandkids, we do the same and love it!

We just came to let the kids blow off some energy and to have a snack but it's a nice, well maintained park. As of today, early April, the water section is still closed. (But looks awesome, if you visit in the summer , come check it out. I'm jealous we'll miss it!)

Hello! We are planning to be in the area the first week of October. Does anyone know if the pool/splash pad will still be open then? Thanks! :-)

This is not a question, but a comment to a review above complaining about Sevierville not having Recycle Cans at our Park. if she had done her research before trying to shame our town she would realize we do not have to have recycle cans because we have a modern state of the art Dump and Landfill. When trash is deposited at our dumpsite it is run through equipment that seperates and recycles the trash on the spot. We have been using this equipment for many years. It eliminates the need for seperate bins etc. I find it very offensive that she was trying to shame our Wonderful Town, and just for the record, We are Great Neighbors to the Smoky Mountains.
