    Must see!
We have gone to this petting zoo roughly four times over the years and it is just wonderful. Great place to see, pet and feed animals. Camels, zonkies, deer, reindeer, horses, mini-ponies, emus, ostrich, goats and rabbits. Wonderful place!!

    Smoky Mountain Horseback Riding
We really enjoyed our trail ride here at the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm Riding Stables. We made reservations- a must! At $32.99 per adult for 1 hour ride, this is a bargain plus they have $1. off coupons off of that! Our trail guide, Amber, did a great job explaining the ways to ride safely & matched the horses to us. I rode Miss Scarlet & my husband rode Spirit. Both were great horses along the trails. My saddle was Australian & was very comfortable. The ride through the trails is very pretty. I would highly recommend this stable for all you horse lovers out there. They do offer helmets for the riders though we didn’t use them

    Great place for kids
Awesome place to visit with kids. Loved the variety of animals and the feed cups/apples were fairly priced. The zonkey named zorro was our favorite. Also loved the kids pony ride where a parent can lead them around the path.

    Fun
We loved this place. Nice place to spend an hour. Felt it was reasonably priced, and food to feed wasn't crazy expensive at all. Most of the animals can eat the food you buy at the entrance, but I do recommend taking quarters because some animals can only eat certain food out of quarter fed machines.

Nice way to spend the afternoon - baby goats!!!!
Always wanted to visit here while in east Tennessee. This time around we finally managed to get there. There was a line out the door, and while you waited to get in staff provided information on what you would feed each animal and told you a bit about them. Once inside each of us purchased food and an apple and headed out to the pens. We stopped by the rabbit, but were distracted by the goats, so it didn't take long to head over there. Be sure to leave the feed cup outside! They goats (and deer) know the cups! They did mention to look for the umbilical cord on the really young babies and not to pick those up. After the goats, we stopped at the deer. They are really motivated by that cup, so again - make sure to leave it outside. We went around 1:00, so the camel was out of food for the day, but you could give him hay. It's a really nice time to walk around, and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I'd visit again.

    Great Experience!
We have visited this zoo multiple occasions. Our autistic son loves all the animals. This time was a little different. My mom who had also visited before passed out on us toward the end of our visit. This was new for her so it was very scary. The owner come out offered assistance, brought water, ice packs, and checked on us several times. I appreciate their kindness. For the zoo part! It is fun as always before we had the excitement of my mother passing out.!

    Horseback Riding and Petting Zoo
Kelli was our horseback tour guide and she made it a wonderful experience for my girlfriend and I. We did the 45 minute trail, very beautiful and the horses were well behaved! We had Darling and Romeo and they were amazing, very good at listening and made the first time very comfortable. The Petting zoo was amazing as well! The goats were so nice and cute and so were all the other animals! Would love to visit again!

    If you love feeding animals!
This place was a blast. It cost $84 for 4 of us to enter, 4 large cups of food, and 4 apples. They have a wide variety of animals to feed/pet. Rabbits, turkey, emu, deer, longhorns, zebra, horse, donkey, zonkey, Sitka, elk, llama, ostrich, goats, and my favorite, the camels. The 7 year old large camel named Larry was the best even though the employee said he was temperamental. It was a lot of fun feeding the animals and interacting with them. Kids will love it and adults too.

    Amazing
Loved this place. It was so cool how you could feed all the animals and even pet a zebra. Only thing that worried me was the turkeys feet. They were huge and owning turkeys for awhile I have never seen anything like it. They should definately be looked at by a vet

I had a group of 8 people with me for horseback riding. For this tour you are on a trail that you are close to a cliff a lot which was a little scary especially because the horses kept wanting to go eat grass close to the edge. We have been horseback riding several times at other places in Tennessee and in other states. We have never had horses that fight so hard to eat grass while on a tour. As a double rider with a child I didn’t care for the horse we were on. He kept going off the trail, even went into the woods, I just didn’t feel like he was the right choice for someone with a little one. I did like that it was mostly a shaded trail. All of the people that work there were friendly. Overall, we did enjoy it.

Outstanding. The best riding stables in Sevier County. The horses are well managed and cared for and the owners are caring and honest people.

We have been bringing our kids here since they were little. This trip we brought our grandson. He enjoyed seeing all the animals. The visit lasted about an hour. All in all, it was a good experience and we will be back.

What an amazing experience! We spent a lot of time here between the petting zoo and horseback riding. This was my granddaughters favorite thing we did on vacation. So many animals to pet and feed. Zonkey, zebra, donkey, reindeer, fallow deer, reindeer… just to name a few.
The horseback riding was great. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at ease as this was my granddaughters first ride on her own. The horses and stable were clean, well maintained. The horses were all healthy and well cared for.
