From our fresh cut orchard, we produce apple-based wine blended with other fruits, including grapes. Located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the Apple Barn Village, the Apple Barn Winery is next door to the world-famous Apple Barn General Store & Cider Mill, two great restaurants, a bakery, a candy store, an ice cream shop, and a Christmas shop. The Apple Barn Winery offers a unique twist on wine. Our wine is hand crafted in small lots on the farm to provide each customer the best possible wine from local fruit. Open daily for tasting and sales, our family oriented staff would love for you to stop by. Even if you are not a “wine connoisseur”, you will still take pleasure in browsing our gift shop full of unique items as well as wine accessories. Our video tour is a wonderful educational experience that provides the opportunity to learn more about the winemaker’s art.

We stopped here after hillside. The lady pouring was very rude. I did the $5 tasting and my husband did the free. All of the wines had apple in them. So if you do not like Apple don't even stop. They all were ok. The sweet wines are way to sweet. They didn't have one of the reds to taste.... More

Whether you like dry, sweet or middle of the road they have something you'll like. We took the tasting and we're able to find three that suited our tastes. Most of what we tried work great with cheese and fruit platters or just sipping on their own. Don't be shy give them a try!

Went to this place to try wines in the Rocky top wine trail. The people had no enthusiasm or courtesy while I was there. I went alone, but joined up with a group of older women who were there to have a good time. We were just blown over at how the service was sub par. This place had no... More

I came in after breakfast with my hubby, it was about 10:00. I asked him if it was too early to taste wine, the ladies behind the counter in unison said "NO". Since you get 4 tastes for free. I went with raspberry apple, pomegranate, strawberry and apple peach. I left with three bottles. Not a peachy girl. The others... More

They did have some good wines, but most of them seemed very similar to each other. Applewood white and apple-strawberry were the only 2 we liked enough to purchase, but don't get me wrong, they were VERY GOOD. The lady we had for our tasting could have been a little more enthusiastic and I didn't feel like she told us... More

Hitting the wineries in the area...just came from Hillside & not currently here at Apple Barn. Went in for tasting & apparently a burden to the woman pouring. What a difference from the last winery!! Didn't even try to talk to us or sell us anything. Wines were decent, but we didn't bother to purchase.

The Apple barn facility is my favorite place to visit when coming to the smoky mountains. The wine is excellent, the food is good, the desserts are unbelievable, the stores are very well maintained and have excellent merchandise, and the staff is as friendly as can be. This is a must visit if you're coming to pigeon Forge

My mother and I stopped in as we made a quick trip to Pigeon Forge. There's 4 free tastings, then it's $5 each after. This was my first time at a winery so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I had a good time. There is also a small gift shop as well. I would definitely... More
