This was our second visit to the Pigeon Forge Gem mine. It is always a great time. They have different levels of buckets you can purchase and "mine" and it is a great family experience. In my opinion the best mine activity in the area!

Love this place, visited the first time 22 years ago and my now husband had a ring made for me. Still wear it, great quality. Fun part of Pigeon Forge and never miss taking part in mining for gems.

It's outdoors but if the wind isn't blowing it shouldn't affect you mining plus they have a Dino museum and gen store you can look inside

Yes. The mining area is outside. The indoor shop is quite crowded so that depends.
