Description:

Everyone knows the name Titanic! Everyone knows Titanic struck and iceberg!...

Everyone knows the name Titanic! Everyone knows Titanic struck and iceberg! And everyone knows Titanic was lost! She sat at the bottom of the ocean for 75 years before they found her in 1985. A second expedition to the wreck site went out in 1986 and that expedition was co-led by the owner of this museum. The artifacts you see throughout the ship are REAL and valued at over $4 million dollars. You'll be able to touch a growing iceberg, experience the 28 degree water, try and steer the ship and pay tribute to the 2,208 passengers and crew that were on the Titanic. You will enter as a guest and leave as a Titanic Passenger!

From the first person you meet at the entrance to the museum to the last person you deal with in the gift shop, every single person stays in character throughout your entire voyage. It is a pretty neat experience. When you enter you are given a card with a passenger on the ship and throughout your entire trip, keep an... More

I have always wanted to tour this museum. I finally made the time and I was NOT disappointed. From buying tickets over the phone to everyone at the museum - everyone was great. I could have spent all day there. The audio tour is great as it allows you to go at your own pace. They discourage the use of... More

Overall, the museum and artifacts were very well done, particularly with the pictures and replicas of the rooms. The tour is self paced, so you can spend as much time at each exhibit as you'd like. I wish that the whole tour was guided instead of being given these heavy handheld speaker/key code things that you had to punch in... More

Very good attraction. Staff was dressed in Titanic historical attire. Displays are fascinating and we'll displayed. I particularly enjoyed the scale model cutaway of the vessel, displaying the layout of the quarters and public areas on board. This is not, however, something that will appeal to young children. They will be board most of the time, with few exceptions. Definitely... More

The music from the movie took us by surprise when we got out of the car. We werent expecting that. Once we got to the gate it was like we stepped back in time. The staff was dressed like the crew from the ship! The photos of people and families boarding the ship, some that have never been seen elsewhere.... More

Definitely too much for the kiddos, but an awesome time for the adult history buff! Some of the artifacts were simply incredible and the stories left us speechless!

Recreations of the grand staircase and state rooms are beautifully done. History lesson on events leading to, and after the disaster, wonderful tribute to the musicians that continued to play as the ship sunk to its watery grave.

This was the second Titanic museum I have visited and by far the best! I learned so much about the ship and the people on the ship. Such a tragedy!! It's fun to find out at then end if your person survived. Mine did not, but my husbands person did.
