My 7-year-old grandson and I loved this place! He walked through and played through with a smile on his face the whole time. His favorite room was the Waterworks, although I agree with another reviewer that it needs improvement. Was glad to see snacks on...More

The children's museum is most definitely geared to children and their minds. The hands on displays are educational and fun! They learn the history of Oak Ridge through their eyes. It's also available for birthday parties which presents not only a good time, but also...More

It is a lot of fun to check out. My grandson enjoys the train section of the museum. They have a lot of different topics covered and quite a few places to check out and play in.

We love taking our 3-1/2-year old granddaughter to the Children's Museum. It has exhibits on birds, trains, coal mines, an old log cabin, huge stuffed polar bear, a "rainforest" and a fantastic child-sized doll house. Kids enjoy visiting the museum very much.

Yes, you can do birthday parties. I believe current price is $150 for room use for 2 hours that includes museum admission for 15 children and accompanying adults.
