Definitely have reservations. The restaurant opens at 5pm and there was very long line waiting rig to get in . Our food was amazing, and they have great cocktail menu. Most of our group got scallops with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and our food/drinks were served quickly. Be prepared, it was very pricey. For the scallop dinner and one drink it was $85 with tip

This place was an awesome classy speakeasy that blows your mind with food. I only didn’t give it five stars because we were without drink refills a few times. I ordered the scallops and someone else ordered the pork chops which she is still talking about all these days later. RESERVATIONS are not an option. Just make them. Don’t assume if you just get there when they open at 5pm you will get seated. There was a line waiting down the street before they even opened. Make reservations and experience it. Also enjoy the piano player!

The food was outstanding, the drinks delicious and we loved our waiter and staff. Ahaki (Doogie) was exceptional. He made us feel so welcome and was very attentive. The food was excellent. There was live piano music during our meal. The portions are large. It was obvious how well the entire staff worked together. It made the service exceptional

If you want a great atmosphere and great food this is the place to go. But it is a popular one so I would recommend making reservations. We stopped in and it was booked for night but spoke to Kyle at the bar. He made sure when a party left to grab us seats. He was an amazing server and the prime rib was delicious!

We went in Skulls not expecting too much as we did not have a reservation. We were very surprised, we had a wonderful evening. Two drinks at the bar and then Anthony Mazzella, gen manager was able to secure us a table. OMG the best experience we had in Nashville. The food, service and awesome music. If you go to Nashville you have to try Skulls! Thank you Anthony!

I went by myself to this amazing place and was BLOWN AWAY by the food. Unbelievably delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the ambiance was superb. Highly highly recommend if you want a fancy treat. The Boeuf En Croute was unreal. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

Wish we could have had dinner here but time didn't permit so next best thing is drinks! Lots of history to this place and many more in Nashville. We definitely want to come back for dinner when we have more time. Service was great at the bar!

What a fantastic night at Skull Rainbow Room! The place itself is located in Printer's Alley, literally an alley. The restaurant is long and narrow with dining tables up front. There's a stage in the middle and a long bar across from the stage and more dining in the rear of the restaurant. We made our reservations late because we knew there was going to be a burlesque show and wanted to stay for that. The dapper host was very friendly and showed us to a perfect table to see the stage. Our server, Brady, provided friendly and very good service. My husband and I both ordered one of Skull's specialty cocktails.; he had the Voo Doo and I had the Rainbow Room. Yum. We started our meal with the tuna tartar which was chopped sushi grade tuna topped with creme fraiche and caviar. It was served with housemade potato chips. The tuna was very fresh and I loved the creaminess of the creme fraiche with the tuna and the saltiness of the caviar. Next, my husband and I split a caesar salad. This salad was loaded with Parmesan cheese and a creamy caesar dressing topped with a Parmesan crisp. There was only one anchovy, though, which I thought was not enough for the size. We then split the lobster bisque soup which was creamy and full of flavor. Perfection! During our dinner, we enjoyed the small band and singer. Very good entertainment. My husband had the special fish dish for the night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the prime rib, which was a huge piece of meat cooked to a perfect medium rare. Both our entrees came with mashed potatoes and sautéed squash. Throughout our meal, we enjoyed various wine and port and everything from the bar was good. We ended our meal with the chocolate peanut butter pie. This dish, we both felt, was too rich and the crust tasteless. The late burlesque show was fun and tasteful. The MC dancer had a great voice and was our favorite. Outside of the one miss in our dinner with dessert, another definite problem is the bathroom situation. There is only one for each gender. Very long lines and lots of complaints were taking place in the back of the restaurant. I used the men's once cutting in front of some guy because I couldn't wait and my husband ended up coming in with me in the women's one time to use the facilities. It was just awful. I cannot believe the bathroom situation with all the patrons. Having spend 4 hours here dining and drinking a lot between alcohol, water and coffee, this was a big problem...and I wasn't alone. Point off for the terrible lack of facilities for the patrons. It was an expensive dinner - a little over $250 for two people.

trying to see if there is a waiting list we can get on as there are no reservations available for 8/9 or 8/10? or are we able to sit at the bar for dinner and the show?

We are in town for Aug 9th and 10th but there are no reservations available for dinner so we can stay for the show. Is there a waiting list we can get on? Are we able to walk in and eat at the bar?

A few questions on the Friday night burlesque show!
Does the show start promptly at 11pm?
Will there be a line to get in? Willl we be able to enter after it starts?
Is there a cover?
Do we need seats or is there standing room?
We will be a party of 8 with an obligation that ends at 11pm and would like to make it to this show if possible! Please let me know what we can expect to find. Thank you!

Yes, we do expect the show to start promptly at 11 pm. There may be a line to get in. If there is room and the show is not at capacity, you will be able to enter after the show starts. There is a $20 cover per person, which gets you a standing room spot for the show.

They only carded at the bar. If you're going for dinner first I'm sure it would be fine. No nudity at all.
