This Symphony hall is small but really is a very elegant space. Seating is comfortable with a good view from most. I would say though that it could be confusing the first time you visit. You have to enter from different levels and you may be directed all over the place before you find your section.

The music and singing was awesome. We sat in back orchestra seats and had a great view. The acoustics were great and clear. It was perfect gift to give my wife for new years eve. I'll go back again. The symphony center is first class in decoration inside and out. Yet, you can dress casual or over the top. The... More

My husband and I went to the Symphony at 6 pm on New Year's Eve to hear elections from Gershwin, Kern, and many more. The show was absolutely wonderful with outstanding entertainment. The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is beautiful and I would highly recommend it be a number one choice for entertainment plans. It is located in downtown Nashville, which is... More

This place is a wonderful venue to listen to music. We were here for the Tony Bennett concert and couldn't see a bad seat in the house. The hall itself has great acoustics and is designed very beautifully. We were in box seats on the lower left of the hall. Each seat in the boxes has a small table beside... More

Went in November 2014 and saw the Cotton Club Band. Very good sat in the 4th row floor area. Rows 1-4 very close to the stage and you have to keep looking up instead of just straight ahead. Best rows if doing floor level are 6-10. Parking very expensive especially on Saturday nights so park over by Broadway and pay... More

Treat yourself to a night at the Schermerhorn! No matter who you go to see perform, you will enjoy the performance from any seat in the house. Valet park in from for 20 (well worth it) and walk up the grand staircase to the entrance. Enjoy a glass of wine before the show and explore the building. Walk up the... More

After surviving the big flood and the challenging debt restructuring, the Symphony Center keeps standing as one of the (unfortunately not that well known) pillars of the Nashville music scene. From the Grammy winning Nashville Symphony Orchestra, performing crowd pleasers and contemporary pieces, to well presented Rock, Jazz and other music shows, there is never a wasted night at the...
