I have been gong to see different shows at the Schermerhorn for a couple years, I always enjoy the shows much better than seeing them at the Bridgestone arena. The sound is great everywhere and you can buy tickets at a reasonable price many times...More

If you have the opportunity to attend an event at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, do it. It is an amazing venue visually, and there's not a bad seat in the house. Oddly enough, it was not the best acoustics I've heard, but certainly quite good...More

Looking for suggestions, ideas on clothing options appropriate for the symphony. Taking into consideration the season and style of music to be performed. Going to see the music of Prince, starring Marshall Charloff. It is scheduled for November 8th. This will be my first time to attending a symphony hall and I want to make sure that I'm not under dressed. The only dress I own is a black knee length. I've worn it once. To my husband's funeral. Don't think I will ever wear it again. So, I'm thinking about skinny jeans or maybe palazzo pants. I love beautiful clothes but, rarely buy them because I spend most of the time in work clothes. The tickets are a special treat to myself and who knows how long it will be before I do something like this again. If anyone has any suggestions please help this old lady out!
