Stopped in a few bars on a recent trip through Nashville. Chose this place as it was 1 of a few we could hit along the street without driving. The outdoor/indoor patio was nice, but there were a few heaters on the ceiling and it was hot. It has roll up window/walls and is probably perfect in the spring/fall with those open. Live music. Never saw a waitress, but you can walk up to the bar.

Avoid at all costs!! Bouncers are the most agresssive, power tripping thugs I’ve ever witnessed. Obviously, they have had no training and will not think twice about putting their hands on patrons. I’ve witnessed their tactics not only on a member of my party but multiple times over the year to other people. And to people who are not creating any issue whatsoever. I’m not talking about people who are belligerent, falling down, harassing others, fighting, those would be all reasons to get throw out of a bar. They randomly walk up to people who are holding conversations with other people and tell them they are being thrown out and when you question why they start shoving. It’s a dangerous situation there. After witnessing it several times, we will no longer go there. There are too many other bars in the area to go to who will respect their customers and you won’t risk getting injured by a bunch of half wits.

The bartender at Losers is super human. The place was packed - she served the entire bar alone and we never had to wait more than a minute or two for a drink. I'm not sure Ive ever seen that kind of service in a bar before. She's great!

We found this place to be a pleasant place to be! Not crazy and one could actually listen to the music which was one person. Friendly service. We only had beer. We stopped in after a long walk and back from Centennial Park and it was my favorite bar that day!!

I had friends in the upstairs bar & downstairs bar, was trying to walk back and forth between them on a night that the bar was not busy at all. Was denied entry to even see if my friends were still in the upstairs portion after leaving it at 12 pm on a not busy night at all, then was picked up by the bouncer, walked to the sidewalk, dropped then slapped in the face and told to F off. Not an amazing experience i would suggest to others, seemed like the guys at the front really wanted to exert some power over someone as opposed to provide a good experience. I didnt really feel safe at this bar.
I tried to enjoy both the upstairs and downstairs here, but I was told i had to wait until my friends left both the upstairs and downstairs before I could even talk to them again. The guys at the front wouldnt even let me look to see if they were there, they just wanted to hit someone. I would not suggest this bar to people who are just in nashville for a casual time, the bouncers really seem to want confrontation and it makes it seem like a sketchy bar despite it being in the middle of midtown in nashville
Overall its pretty funny that the bouncers act this way because every other bar around it, and there are a ton of others, are way better and dont have this atmostphere. I just wanted to have a fun time with my friends, the bouncers just wanted to extert their minimal power. Funny overall, because I doubt we are going back. Tons of better options in nashville, this is just the worst version of whatever college bar you're hoping to re-create

We were a group of 10 and although it was the middle of the day, we couldn't find any place to get some lunch. Losers was full on their open floors, but Chris opened the second floor for our group, served us and catered to every request. Everyone was happy with their meals and beverages. The prices were very reasonable, and we left very satisfied on our first experience in Nashville.

I had a problem with my car and the street was closed to traffic where I was supposed to pickup my husband so I pulled into the alley next to Losers. The security guard promptly told me I needed to f’n move. Even after explaining my situation he kept cursing me. He reeked of alcohol and was extremely rude. Not the southern hospitality one would expect and obviously not a good impression except the name fits!

Good atmosphere, more intimate in that you are up close and personal with the musicians. Drinks were good and definitely a honky tonk to check out. There was a rooftop deck, but were unable to access due to a private event. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but it served our purpose for the night.

Music sounded good so we stopped for lunch. Our table was dirty so I went to the bar to ask for a towel. It's not a big bar so clearly she saw me . She was far too busy talking to her friend to acknowledge me so I waited. Eventually she walked the 2 steps over to me, and gave a me a bar towel to clean my own table! I walked back over to order and again waited for her to finish to with her friend. No, "one second please" no "I'm sorry", no smile. She really was just rude. Other than her friend, both times I was the only one at the bar. I owned a bar for over 10 years. If she were my employee, she'd have been fired. Food and music were good but never go back!

Worst experience I’ve had in Nashville. First, my bartender was the literal worst. When guys would order, she’d be a total sweetheart. When a girl would order, total 180 flip. She was extremely rude and slammed our drinks on the counter every time. I asked for a wells vodka sprite and she gave me Tito’s. That’s DOUBLE the price. $20 for a little sippy cup. I never would’ve ordered that. Second, covid hotspot. People were body to body with no masks. Absolutely ridiculous. I never want to go back.

Thanks

What's the dress code daytime-nighttime, if any??...
Written 7 July 2017
Dress code at Loser's anything goes. You can go western, suit, swim trunks-tank top and flip flops. Just go in ready to have F-U-N. Day time is more casual. Night time wear your drinking and party clothes.
