Had a wonderful time at the dam. The parking is plentiful. It was pet friendly. I visited durning the off season I'm not sure about pet friendly during the busy season. I was able to let my dogs swim there with no issue. I would visit again if I was in the area.

I stumbled on the visitor center and J. Percy Priest Dam on the greenway walk path. You'll see sightseeing onlookers, workers stopping off for a car lunch spot, some fisherman, joggers and of course a nice big dam. If it's daylight it will be open.

This review is for the trail around Couchville Lake in Long Hunter State Park at Percy Priest Lake. This nice little lake is a great resource for outdoor activity for people in the area. There is a very nice trail around the lake, about 2 miles of paved trail with a bridge over part of the lake. The trail is... More

We visited Percy Priest lake and damn today. Its such a beautiful spot. Great place to take the family or a quit spot to visit as a couple. The visitor center was very educational. We walked around and sat for a while with our feet in the water. Beautiful spot! We then drove across to the Percy Priest Damn. Such... More

We stayed near the lake during our visit to Nashville. At this time of year it is not necessarily a tourist location but it does have nice parks and scenery.

Never a dull moment as we live nearby and never a time when this view is boring. Boating and other water sports everyday makes this a fun place to stop and catch your thoughts and put on paper.

Love this lake! There are islands that you can camp on, bluffs to jump off of and many coves to hang out in with your friends. There are also some no wake zone areas where you can paddle your kayaks and canoes. A great place to kayak with several island's to explore and picnic on. The bad part is the... More

Lot of boats on this lake and people (even in November) enjoying the weekend. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful with the fall colors. There are a few houseboats to rent for an overnight. Didn't see the camping area but I'm told there is one.

A nice lake with a great view of sunrises and sunsets. A park across the lake. Many boats on a quiet lake.
