Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame(R) member Barbara Mandrell, and is Nashville's only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats. The home, situated on the 136 acre property, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. With The Inn at Fontanel, the Woods Amphitheater, Pritchard's Distillery the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Music City Ziplines by Adventure Works, The Trails and Metro Parks Greenway, it is easy to see why Fontanel is becoming one of Nashville's premier destinations. We offer a family and dog friendly atmosphere located just minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek.

I have to tell you this tour far exceeded our expectations. We thought the tour would be fun mainly because my husband and I both remembered watching Barbara Mandrell's Variety Show when we were teenagers. Our wonderful tour guide Steven greeted everyone at the door and made us all feel like welcome guests. He was very knowledgeable about the history... More

We had a great tour guide, Stephen. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining by telling jokes and singing a song that he wrote!! This is a beautiful estate and hard to believe that a family really did live here. It was fun to hold the guitars that were hanging on the wall. The beauty of the log mansion was breathtaking.... Restaurant at Fontenell was excellent! Great bloody Mary's !! Wine tasting too! It was fun to see Barbara Mandrell's house, although it's not a museum, The guy was very nice he played the piano we were there and you could they actually let you sit on the furniture and the crackers in her bed LOL!

The former home of country music star Barbara Mandrell is, of course, a must-see for any country music fan of a certain age, but it is interesting for all. The style is an interesting "mid-century modern meets log cabin", and it is filled with memorabilia from Barbara Mandrell and her family. Many of the rooms have been preserved/restored to the... I found the mansion on accident while looking for places to visit in Nashville, had never even heard of it! I went on a cold, snow day in March and stopped by Prichard's Distillery before doing the house tour (just across the lot). The drive up to the house is very serene, crossing over a creek and the helipad; casual.... More

We have visited many historic homes and majestic homes open to tourist from the Biltmore House to Hearst Castle and everything in between. However this former home of Barbara Mandrell certainly has it's own unique place as the largest log home in the US and one of the largest in the world. With 27,000 square feet or 33,000 if you... This was the best tour we've ever been on. The mansion is so beautiful. Learned a lot from our tour guide Steven. Steven even entertained us. The Great room is so georgeous as is the rest of the mansion. I could just image the kids having a blast living there along with the dogs running around.
