The gardens at Cheekwood are terrific every season but perhaps in the dead of winter. They do a couple of special exhibitions each year – usually on in the mansion's art galleries and one that is done outside during the warm months. In the summer...More

As you drive up to Cheekwood through Nashville's gracious-home neighborhood of Belle Meade, you first see the magnificent gardens. There are a half-dozen different gardens, each with a unique design them, gorgeously blended into the hilly landscape of the estate and gorgeously tended. There's even...More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the mansion. They were beautiful and well maintained. Would go again for just those. The current art exhibit, however, left much to be desired. In our opinion, having those plastic animals scattered around the gardens...More

The gardens were beautiful, but what they call art if laughable! Plastic toys that bankrupt Toys R Us couldn’t give away! Overpriced and very disappointing—would not recommend to anyone until they place real art from their permanent collection back on display! Avoid unless you want...More

The Cheekwood Botanical Gardens is really pretty. Being there in July is not the best time except if you like greenery. Not a lot of blooming plants, but still very pretty. Well kept - excellent walkways.

April is usually a premier time to stroll through the grounds, provided you don’t suffer from allergies. When the tulips are in full splendor, Cheekwood is simply gorgeous. Welcome spring with Nashville! You’ll be glad you made the trip.

The grounds are beautiful. The plus for us was getting to see the inflatable white rabbit exhibit that we'd seen at our Memphis museum. Also, the mansion is beautiful and worth the visit. Tickets are a bit pricey.

Our church grop spent the afternoon at Cheekwood. The gardens were lovely, and they were featuring their new art exhibit. They are in the process of restoring some of the mansions rooms to the period . The entrance to the mansion was a little too...More
