    Great free entertainment venue
This venue is a fantastic place to go and listen to live music and the best part is that it is free to enter! We saw first class performers and the music was great. The dance floor provides lots of entertainment to watch or participate in. Line dancing lessons offered regularly. The food is good but quite pricey. This is a great place to relax and enjoy good country music.

Great place for dancing lessons and live music
I found this place on the last day of my trip. They have dancing lessons for a fee on the hour. I watched the lady on the stage teaching all the people on the dance floor some good country line dancing. It looked amazing. They also serve food. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Nashville.

    Loved it!!
The atmosphere is fun and vibrant. The complimentary line dancing instruction on the weekends makes the experience very interactive. The food and drinks were so good(I I recommend the Cowboy Margarita if you like a little heat and the chicken tacos were nummy)…BUT (!) Barbara, who helps keep the women’s bathroom in tip top shape is an absolute GEM!! She greets everyone and keeps everything stocked and filled (so make sure you tip her) and she helps keep the whole experience fun and personal. She will be the person I remember the most from the Wildhorse Saloon experience, which was altogether a great experience. Thank you Wildhorse Saloon for fun Nashville experience! And thank you, Barbara, for being an amazing human being!!

Fun times, great music & dancing
We were there for a private party. The staff was way overwhelmed by the number of people but we had good food and speedy drink service. The main stage band was phenomenal! Broad variety of music and excellent audience interaction. Line dance instruction was user friendly and fun!! Only thing better would have been a bit more air conditioning! Well worth the stop y'all!

    Great place for entertainment
You know the old saying "don't judge a book by it's cover? This place will wow you when you walk inside. Larger than it appears, 3 levels of seating to enjoy top notch entertainment on a professional appearing stage. Great bar tenders and servers to make sure you are satisfied with your fav drinks.

Good place for line dance lessons away from the Broadway scene.
We went on a Sunday afternoon for the free line dance lessons. The hostess handled seating for dining but there was an open section first come, first get for just drinks which had no servers, you went to the bar to the bar tender. It had a mellower atmosphere than the parade of bars on Broadway. The band that played that day was excellent. Between sets an instructor gave a 30- minute line dance lesson. The earlier lessons were less crowded than the ones later in the day but it was all fun. We saw men and women, young adults and teens and even a few kids out there trying the dance steps. Altogether a good place to go, I didn't give a 5-star because we didn't eat there and can't speak for how the food was.

    Great choice
There was a 35 minute wait on a Saturday at 12:30. The atmosphere was nice. Nice and cool on a hot afternoon. The band was top notch and the food was delicious. We had a Caesar salad with chicken and a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. The drinks were great with a fair amount of alcohol. Time well spent.

    Hopping place
We went in because we saw the band projected on a big HD screen behind them and thought it was quite cool. And much like several places I've passed by in Nashville, you'll hear some rock mixed in with country. They were playing some good 90s rock. We walked in, no cover! Enjoyed some music and line dance lessons for 40 minutes, quick stop.

Go for the music NOT the food.
The band was awesome Brother Maven who were 5/5. My food was awful. I eat pretty much anything and their BBQ chicken sandwich was small, dry with stale bread. I would go there again for the band but I’d eat somewhere else first.

Pros:
Free line dance lesson
Friendly staff

Cons:
Drinks are weak with little alcohol
They closed early at 10pm and would not let our friends come in because "it's slow tonight"
They don't allow people to leave the place with alcohol somehow they're law enforcement cops

We had so much fun here. We wanted to try out line dancing, and as soon as we arrived we saw a dancefloor full of people. We initially tried to copy as we didn't know what we were doing, but then about 30 minutes in (about 10pm on a Saturday), a lady went up on stage and gave us all a free line dancing lesson, which was incredible. She was patient and we did the routine to multiple songs after learning - it was a real workout! Would definitely recommend if you want to try out line dancing.

We’ve been here several times over several years and always had a positive experience – I can’t say our experience on 7/3 was positive in several ways. We were a group of 12 – ages 16 to mid 50’s – we had already eaten so just wanted to listen to some music and adults have a few drinks. First issue was getting in, we waited in line and started showing ids as requested. When it was my turn I had my 16 and 19 year old kids with me, I let the bouncer know the youngest was 16 since several places had questioned his age – the bouncer quickly informed me he was obviously under age in a snotty tone and pushed us thru. Note he did not look at either kids ids nor mark their hands in any way. One remaining member of our 12 is in her 50’s and did not have her id on her – we had been on Broadway all day and she had not been carded one time. The bouncer made a huge deal of her not having her id saying he shouldn’t let her in since he couldn’t prove she was over 21 – interesting since you just let 2 kids in without any look or mark. So he then proceeds to draw 2 massive x’s on each of her hands and make a big show of the situation. Just made no sense. Once we are in we realize the upstairs is blocked off which is odd since the place is fairly packed. We split into smaller pub tables and folks head off to the one open bar – yes you read that correctly, the 2 side bars were closed and only 2 bartenders at the main bar. 25+ minutes later everyone had drinks aside from the kids because the bartenders refused to pour a straight soda. One bartender was taking customer’s cash and then never offering their change back unless they yelled at her until she would cave in and take a look at them. We understand being short staffed, but the attitudes of the staff made the evening lose its fun. The band playing was amazing so no complaints there. We will probably give this another try in the future but considering we had better experiences in every other place we were in that day and there are so many choices, it definitely won’t be high on the list.
