Standing as the centerpiece in Nashville's Centennial Park, the Parthenon is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Come inside to see the 42-foot gilded sculpture of Athena, the permanent display of American paintings from the Cowan Collection, the history of the Nashville Parthenon dating back to the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition, and a variety of temporary shows and exhibitions! The entrance is located on the ground level of the East side of the building.

25 year old son wanted to go. Ok. Hard to find a parking space on the weekend. Entrance around the rear (huh?). Only $6 entry fee. Nice exhibit inside. Art museum as well as Parthenon history and history of this building. Worth the $6.

Very cool to see. Lot of history. The building is perfect. The doors were actually made on Long Island,NY and shipped out there a long time ago!!

For history buffs who have never been to Greece to see the Parthenon, this is Nashville's version. Inside is housed a golden statue of the goddess Athena, that stands, don't quote me, around 38 feet tall. This is a self guided tour that costs $6....More

The Parthenon in Nashville...what the heck? Yep, a full scale replica of the original. Beautiful park and flower garden, large pond, concerts in summer. Google to find out what's going on. Or, just bring a pallet, picnic lunch, and your frisbee. Plenty of massive shadetrees....More

This is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in a city park! The Parthenon is very interesting but the park also has a steam locomotive, a pond and other memorials.

Went there on a gorgeous fall day. The Parthenon was pretty but there is not much else to do. I thought it was expensive to go inside to look at a small display. There were a lot of people picnicking, playing Frisbee and generally enjoying...More

We enjoyed taking our son & his girlfriend her for the 1st time. We definitely recommend visiting the museum inside. Athena is VERY impressive. The art exhibit was wonderful. The sheer beauty of this structure is AMAZING.

We had read about the life size replica on the internet and decided to check it out. It is definitely like the real one, just in a better condition. There is also a small gift shop in the lobby before you go in.

Well worth it to check out this landmark. You walk around at your own pace. There are beautiful grounds to walk around as well.
