My friends are big country music fans so I agreed to go check it out. I really enjoyed the show, the music and the atmosphere. This Friday night Opry Show from "the mother church of country music" was a live radio broadcast. The musical performances were very entertaining and so was watching the give and take between announcers when they... More

We attended the Ryman for Christmas for children concert. It is intimate and has all the amenities. Two snack and beverage stands in the lobby then within the auditorium they have two beverage stands. Comfortable seating and all seats with good views of the stage. My children we're able to stand at the stage for awhile and also go up... More

Grand Ole Opry was here at it's original location. Quaint, not very large, very nostolgic watching the upcoming acts "waiting in the wings" . Went during awards week and had a great time

We went to the Ryman for a show and also a tour the next day, the show was amazing, can't believe I got to see Loretta Lynn at the Ryman! Seats where uncomfy as hell but it was a church after all! Tour was good, would be better if you could have a tour guide the whole time rather than... More

My first Opry at the Ryman was better than my first visit to The Grand Ole Opry House. It is just humbling being in a building where such legendary musicians have played. The Ryman is small, but has great acoustics. It truly feels special, unlike the Opry House, which can feel a little commercial. I would love to go back... More

Awesome night. Plenty of music from well known and lesser known talent. Seats are awesome anywhere in the house. Sounds are very authentic as in not recorded and perfect but perfectly sung in the moment. Can't leave unhappy from this one.

Highly recommend you put this on your must do while in Nashville list. We got to see the performance on 29 Nov 2016. It was a legendary afternoon for someone who is a huge country music fan. Book your tickets well in advance for best seats.

Vince and Amy Grant put on a great Christmas show. Very relaxed and enjoyable. The seats however, are very uncomfortable for a three hour show. Would still recommend to friends.

In case you were unaware, The Ryman is second. Only to. The Mormon Tabernacle in terms of acoustic perfection. Every show there is enhanced by the purity of sound in this historic auditorium. This time we saw Amy Grant and Vine Gill's Christmas show. As usual, it was fantastic. And if you have a chance, book a tour of the... More
