This pleasant, relaxing 45 min stroll through the wetlands is accessible to all. Excellent interpretive signage exists....but its amazing what you may see/encounter if you take your time. Enter or leave through the adjoining award winning Y Water Discovery Centre to round off your visit.

If you're not into wetlands, you probably won't even have considered this walk. It's one for visitors who love swampy country, big red gums, varied bird-life and dodging Tiger snakes. The Yea wetland does a good job in offering an interesting walk that sheds light...More

Being so close to town the Wetlands are easy to access. Good signage explaining various flora & fauna in the area. A pleasant walk.

I took my grandchildren to the Yea Wetlands and thru the Y Centre. The grandchildren loved that they could run ahead on the "Wobbly"bridge and look below for any fish, platypuses that were in the Yea River below. They could run with out been hindered...More

Yesterday we were looking around Yea and went to the very good tourist information centre where a nice lady gave us all the info we needed. Next door there is the path to the Yea Wetlands so decided to look at that before moving on...More

I took my three granddaughters to have a look. The ladies on the desk were lovely and encouraged the girls to be excited about the explanation straight away. They learned a lot which I'm sure will help them understand how each part of the environment...More

This was nice enough for a walk but we didn't see any birds. I was thankful that there were mown sections of grass but some clearer signs marking the way would have been helpful or some simple maps on signs would have been appreciated

Yes, there is a parking area and entry is free. It would take about half hour to walk the tracks at a leisurely pace. Tracks are dirt but quite smooth. With determination a person could negotiate them with a walker, but it... More
