The back beach is a must on a trip down to sorrento, whether it’s to soak up the beautiful views, a hike around the national park or a relaxing lie down on the beach. It is incredible. But be prepared for a bit of wind!

I liked that Sorrento Back Beach. First I was admiring the ocean. There were lots of rocks and the waves hit them quite hard. Interestingly enough, there were several rock plates. It made it possible to have small waterfalls on the ocean. The beach was...More

The beach is just beautiful with rocks and cliffs. The backwater pool is such a hit with kids..who love to dive..the sand is so grainy and different from beaches at the great ocean road. Must visit...

Great for swimming, snorkelling in rock pools, bodysurfing the beach breaks or surfing "out the back". Lots of walking and rock climbing. A great place to spend a day and beautiful scenery

A local took us to this amazing beach. It was out of season and early evening so it wasn't patrolled. But it was wild, exhilerating and a naturalist's dream. The ruggedness of this coast cannot be exaggerated. Many ships have foundered on these rocks with...More
