Have wanted to do this for at least 23 of the 24 years it's been running, but life (and the ex wife) hasn't permitted it to happen. Thanks to the blues train for a most enjoyable evening - we loved it.

This was a really cool setting for a different and fun experience. The musicians were awesome, good food and a few drinks along the way. Highly recommended for couples or bigger groups

The musicians are generally good, it is the crowded carriages that don't face the performers is a problem with very little room in the carriages for viewing or dancing. There is one carriage that is OK. A lot of the action relies on heavy drinking...More

Our show is a unique theatrical experience. A heritage train cannot be altered to accommodate a traditional stage setup and dance floor obviously. There is ample room for dancing for those who are inspired in the aisles, carriage ends and of course in D carriage....More

What a night! Four of us booked tickets for the blues train just recently. They helped us out with some local and very well priced boutique accommodation just near the station. It’s a dinner and show with caterers on site. We didn’t need to worry...More

On a cold winters night the train proved a failure. Heating was nil inside all four carriages and 5 open burners on the platform gave no heat as the wind chill factor was massive and no one could stand in the open. At each of...More
