Great Family Entertaiment, enjoy the rare opportunity to tour a 19th century Coastal Artillery Fort. Amongst underground magazine, inside the Keep, fascinating artifacts and historial objects is the opportunity to try on uniforms from different moments in time. Walking tour approx 1 hr and 1/2 with a one of our friendly, knowlegable Tour Guides.

We had an enthusiastic tour guide who definitely knew plenty of interesting and unusual facts about the fort. It was probably a bit more skewed towards families with young kids in the tone and delivery but this made sure she kept up the interest of...More

We had a fair few kids on our tour and the guide was fabulous in getting them involved as her "security guards" and helpers. It kept them involved. She was also full of interesting facts and information on this fort which continues to be in...More

Good afternoon Catie I'm pleased that your group enjoyed their tour of the Fort and our Guide was very passionate about our history. Unfortunately as this is still a working Fort all groups must keep together and there are some area's where wheelchairs aren't suitable...More

The tour was led by a local volunteer, who enthralled everybody with her ghost stories and local anecdotes, particularly about the 'disappearing gun'. I would highly recommend the tour, it is a fascinating place.

Visited Fort Queenscliff today. The guide was excellent and kept everyone interested. Learned many new facts about the location and the fort. Well worth a visit if your in the area. Our kids aged 9 and 12 also enjoyed it and learned alot

The tour is the way to go if you want to immerse yourself in the history and suspense surrounding this fort. You get an idea of the worries and tensions of our forebears.

We joined a group of about 20 people on this 1.5 hour tour. Kids, seniors, couples and families, including an elderly man who served there many years ago. The guide sprinkled her presentation with family stories and bits of history that made it come alive....More
