More
Lake Mountain is Melbourne's closest and most affordable alpine resort, just a 120 kilometre drive from Melbourne. A year round destination for the entire family which during the winter months offers over 37 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, toboggan slopes and plenty of snow play areas. During spring and summer enjoy exhilarating flying fox rides, laser skirmish, challenging mountain bike trails and enchanting mountain walks. The Resort provides skiers with the opportunity of learning new skills in a relaxed, fun environment. Our ski school provides both the young and the young at heart with professional ski instruction. Enjoy an intimidation free experience! We offer ski clothing and equipment hire on site over the winter months so there is no reason to not enjoy the diverse experiences that the mountain offers. At the end of an active day enjoy majestic mountain views, local seasonal food and hot and cold beverages at the licensed Cafe or Bistro.

Have been here numerous times, but took our niece up here during the June long weekend. It was cool but pleasant, and the snow had not yet arrived. The walk to the summit is good exercise and takes about an hour return. It is a...More

We and specially the kids enjoyed the snow for their first time. You can hire all clothes for an expensive price except gloves that you have to buy in their shop! When I was at the rental area, I wanted to have a seat but...More

Accepting that it wasn't the snow season when we visited, this was still a disappointing trip for lunch. Advertised in Marysville as "Open for Lunch", only one of the buildings was open, and it was basic, tacky and plastic. So was the food - the...More

The Lake Mountain Resort was a pleasant surprise for us. It is well set out and maintained with a very convenient Café operated by customer focused staff. Would recommend a visit to all.

We stayed in Marysville and drove up for the summer activities with our 5 and 7 year old boys. They loved the zip lining, tubing, and bouncy castle. Bit too young for the laser tag, but what a friendly staff and great scenery.

I noticed it is supposed to snow Friday 25th May, so not sure if it will be snowing to the 2nd June. This will depend on the weather. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast.
