Had an amazing day at Lake mountain. 8cm of snow fell overnight so conditions were perfect for tobogganing and playing in the snow. The cafe serves many food options and yummy hot chocolate to warm up on a cold day. Will be back next year...More

We all had hours of fun toboggoning, adults and children alike. This is the second time we have gone to Lake Mountain this month. The cafe was also convenient when we wanted to get out of the cold and thaw out.
For my overseas visitor this was a first and tobogganing really enjoyed particularly the steeper run and level of supervision present. A well organised snow gear hire was impressive perhaps pricey compared to that bottom of mountain where u stay, but then u carry everywhere....More
The resort was much smaller than we had imagined. Very little area where visitors (like us) who didn't want to ski. We did enjoy the snow, however. The cafe was reasonably priced and had a good variety of food

Yes in August, when on a day visit from Marysville, enough snow cover at a large well posted and supervised gentle slope, plus a steeper slope further away. Getting to both walking was but can be slippery and no rail... More
