Baileys of Glenrowan occupies a special little corner of north-east Victoria, situated between the granite rich Warby Ranges and picturesque Winton Wetlands.

Established in 1870 the winery has since forged an enviable reputation for powerful, long lived red wines and world class fortifieds, particularly muscat and topaque.

As custodians of a priceless heritage we take a traditional approach to winemaking to produce wines that are authentic, true to style and expressive of our special site. Our entire vineyard is managed organically to maximize fruit quality, and was certified in 2011.

Our welcoming heritage listed Cellar Door is open every day from 10am, with the Old Block Cafe serving authentic pizzas and wood fired fare every weekend from 11am.

We hope to see you soon.

Came here randomly a few days before NYE. The kitchen was due to be shutting but they fitted in a pizza for us which was delicious. My other half was driving so I got the pleasure of tasting all the amazing wine and the gentleman serving was so informative and fun. He really made our trip special.

Baileys specialize in full-bodied red wines including shiraz, cabernet and durif, and delicious dessert wines, liqueur muscat and topaque (previously called tokay). In recent years the vineyard has converted to organic farming practices. A more approachable style of wine-making produces wines ready to be drunk young, but Baileys still make some wines, especially the old vines shiraz, that can be... More

We found the atmosphere and environment charming and full of character. The pizza menu was varied and authentic. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired but some leeway due to a large crowd. (Showing how popular it is). Would not go again as there are a number of local alternatives that surpass this venue in quality and value.

A group of us went here for lunch on a friday (woodfired pizza day). As we drove up the driveway the place is very scenic and well set out (great for functions and wedding photos). We ordered our pizzas and whilst they were cooking we were offered wine tastings. The wines were delicious and we ended up purchasing a bottle... More

On a recent Sunday we took the opportunity to drive the 'road less travelled'- the scenic route past the Winton Wetlands, through the Warby Ranges to Wangaratta and pulled in to Baileys Winery on the way. It was like being welcomed by an old friend- a refreshed and reinvigorated old friend! The grounds and outbuildings are lovingly cared for, with... More

This is a little gem amongst some higher profile/more fancy wine eateries in the area. Pizzas are excellent. Service is very intimate and professional. Lots of space for kids to run around. And some excellent reds and fortifieds to sample. Been a few times and highly recommend.

I went here, on a Sunday for lunch, with a group of 35 people. As it was raining, the idea of an outside function was not possible. However, the people at Baileys were very happy to set up inside for us After a bit of a time tasting Baileys excellent wines and having a look at the winery museum, we... More

After filling up on an enormous portion of food in Benalla for breakfast unfortunately I didn't have room to try the Woodfired pizza on offer at baileys.. But if it was as fantastic as their wines, their cellar door manager? The coffee and the brilliant oatmeal cookie then nuff said.. I don't usually write reviews but after seeing a couple... More
