I live maybe 3 minutes from this state park. I love running, hiking, and relaxing at Panther Creek Park. They also offer camping spots I've never taken advantage of. The place is great though; offering a tennis court, playground, public pool, soccer field, hiking grounds, camp grounds, picnic areas, RV grounds, and volley ball court. Take your family, relax alone,... More

While living in small town Tennessee, my husband and I made it a point to go here at lease once a week. We would grab a coffee and drink it at the picnic tables before choosing which hiking trail to take. This was seriously one of the most serene places I have been...and no matter which hike we chose, we... More

This is a great place for a family outing. Great trails, picnic area, views, camping. I sometimes put my ski in the lake at the boat ramp too.

This is my favorite local place to escape to… So many wonderful wooded trails; open spaces; swings, pool and pic-nic area; well-kept restrooms; well-kept campsite; sand volleyball court; basketball hoops; tennis; gorgeous scenic overlook with educational history plaques; soccer fields; 2 ranger stations, plenty of parking. Love this location for photography, as the woods are just divine, with several wide... More

We visit Panther Creek Park many many times during the year. Also my husband's work has their family picnic here. We have hiked many of the trials(several I want to walk this year!) It's a beautiful park that is maintained very well and a great place to picnic on the warm days. The pavilions are in great locations and we... More

Panther Creek State Park was recommended by the Harbor Mountain Inn for a Saturday morning hike. When we arrived, the visitors building was closed and there were no park/trail maps in the outside kiosk so we were pretty much on our own. The park was beautiful, especially with all of the fall colors. The trails were not very well marked... More
