My first time at these beautiful gardens and it won't be my last. Unexpected Australian beauty, I love this place, it presents our native flora in mass plantings, set in many various and imaginative garden settings. Lots of ideas to take home to my own garden. One downside, is the lack of plant name identification. The wide paths are easy... More

The Royal Botanical Cranbourne is not a disappointment!! While you'd be smitten with the picturesque views as when you walked into this beautiful garden ! Flower beds and a mini waterflow pathway will lead you just to explore more !! A great getaway with family for a picnic day and if you feel a bit more energetic there is a... More

Made a visit during winter, but blessed with a nice day. This park is a relatively new venture of the Royal Botanical Gardens featuring Australian natives and it did not disappoint. The walks are well laid out and leisurely with many paths to choose from. Despite being winter there were many flowers. Sadly pruning had just been undertaken, so it... More

We were last at Cranbourne some years ago and if the Gardens seemed impressive then they are now even more so.The range of the planting and the imagination of the layouts and installations are truly magnificent. We had a wonderful visit even though we only covered the Australian Garden and had to leave the bush walks for another day. This... More

We had a lovely morning at the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens. The kids had a great time on a hot day splashing in the little stream created especially for kids who want to get wet, hopping between rocks as the water flow got faster and slower. The gardens are pretty unique, and they have crammed many Australian landscapes into the relatively... More

Was thrilled to spend half a day roaming the gardens. It was a well planned and laid out garden with a huge variety of flora. Definitely worthy of its international awards

We had an absolutely wonderful visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne. Thank you Jacquie for the descriptive, informative but gently approach as you drove us around in the little bus, we really appreciated the way you cared about your passengers and the knowledge you imparted to us. We were thrilled to see a little bird and her babies in... More

I visited on quite a warm day and wondered why there were so many small children there. It transpires that there is a water feature there which is like a paddling stream which they love. I would issue a note of caution though because I suspect it could be slippery underfoot. I had a one-to-one guided tour from a volunteer... More

My wife and one year old daughter went to pass some time outside. surprisingly we spent almost 4 hours there. Heaps of room for children to run around and get wet in the many water features. The focus is on the native plants of Australia. Opportunity to see bird life (we saw a fox and a Numbat) and even possibly... More
