Today I have joined in an exercise class in the shade and dappled sunlight in the Buninyong Botanic Gardens. The grass was green and lush underfoot. The wind gently rustled the leaves of giant poplar and elm trees overhead. Picnic tables, sheltered gazebos if needed...More

Would be a nice location for a bbq or picnic. Interesting little gardens, the Californian redwood is impressive, most of the trees appear to be named.

The Gardens and the nearby Gong helped us yesterday to understand the development of the town from the 1860s. Signage was good and all areas were wheelchair friendly - some nice picnic spots as well. Loved the lilies and magnolias! Dogs were welcome!
