The court house is a great experience and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and entertaining and knowledgeable. The ability to go through at your own pace was good, and in the court itself you can hear a trial going on. Beechworth in general has great museums, and is so much better than Glenrowan which is unfortunately rather... More

I learnt so much about Australian History that I didn't already know. The audio going on whilst you are walking through is also very informative. I enjoyed reading the transcripts about the Women's stories - and I would love to see them all put into a book to purchase. They were so interesting.

Kids had lots of fun looking for different objects on the activity sheet. Had fun in the court house taking lots of photos of Ned Kelly armor.

This site is well preserved and houses the Court House where Ned Kelly was tried. Lots of information dotted around. You can do a tour although we didn't.

Yep, we loved this place, so much history! We had a "Gold Ticket" and enjoyed the Courthouse along with many other attractions. Good value for money. Just Do It!

We have visited Beechworth many times and love the history. This day the host in the court house was a particularly great bloke, we had a good chat about world history and thats why i love to come to these places, its not just what you can see, its what you can hear about too.

It was probably just me but I didn't think too much of this place, especially after visiting the vault where we had already learnt about Ned Kelly. The information was a bit repetitive between these two places (but I guess that cannot be avoided). I could have easily skipped it.

We visited the courthouse on a sunday morning. Very interesting history of the courthouse and Beechworth community. Beautiful antique furniture. Worth the small entry fee.
