Experience the Magic at Luna Park Sydney! Built in the 1930s, Luna Park is a harbour-side amusement park that still contains traditional midway games and rides. The Park is open year-round; generally every day during NSW School Holidays, and Friday to Monday during the school term. It is advised to check their website for current opening hours. Entry to the park is completely free, and the best way to experience the rides is to purchase an unlimited rides pass. Buy your tickets online and you are guaranteed to save money.

When I were a lad in the 70s my mother used to take me to Luna park at least once a month. Now I'm in my 50s and during a recent family holiday to Sydney I took my own family along to enjoy the rides and the atmosphere. Unfortunately the atmosphere was constantly interrupted by the Luna Park dancers and... More

My friend, her 4 year old and I decided to do an evening visit to luna park. Our goal was to ride the ferris wheel and see the lights of the city. The park was easy to get to from the Sydney ferry terminal...5 or 6 minutes across. For unlimited rides for the 3 of us we paid $66 total.... More

We had so much fun here. Before the trip I prepurchased the carnival games online. For less than $25 we were able to ferry here, play some carnival games, and eat some carnival food (think corn dogs and sandwiches, coke, and fries). That's a pretty great price for a date night in our opinion! The place lights up at night.... More

We bought annual passes when we had international visitors (which is great value if you visit more than twice in 12 months) so for us the entry price was not a factor for a couple of hours fun!! We drive in and park at Luna Park so no need to worry about ferry and train times and for us the... More

Ok, it's Luna Park, you have to see it.......But don't go in thinking it will be amazing. It's much smaller than you'd think and very few choices in rides. Typical ripoff games you get at every fair type venue, $5 a game, walking away with a small stuffed toy. The price is pretty crazy for what it is as well,... More

Advertised on like at less than $40 per teenager but $52 when you get there. So I'm told "sorry only on line" for the cheaper price. Why?? Please justify it! So I paid more. Then lunch $44 for three (bad) hamburgers chips and a drink. Ouch! Opps need a loo. Really not clean nor nice. Kids had a ball however... More

Park was pretty busy when we went and some queues very long. Operators seemed a bit amateur and too slow getting people on and off. Wait for Tango was terrible due to teen workers too busy chatting to each other. Food is overpriced and usual awful Aussie theme park junk such as Pluto pips and frozen burgers. Ride are good... Not just for kids alone a nice playground for adults to experience as well. If you come at night you will get to see the entire Sydney Harbour lit up from a far.

Its exciting, but a little bit childish. The number of rides are minimum and they are mostly for kids.

This place is a really good family outing. It's around some great places to eat and the environment is really great. My favourite rides were probably the Hair Raiser, the Tango Train and the Mystery Mansion.
