Wife and I visited for the Extreme Ghost tour. We had previously done the standard Adult tour a few years ago so were keen for a step up with respect to stories etc. Tour group was great but a little let down by the tour content. Definitely not any more extreme than the standard tour. We learnt more about the... More

My wife and I booked on a tour ofd this former quarantine station in Manley for a cost of around £12 each. The tour lasted about 90 mins and gave a history of how immigrants with potential diseases were quarantined before being released into Australia. Lots to see and do and good value for money.

Thank you so much to OzPara Tech, Roman and Anne for an amazing first time at sydneys Q Station. With loads of information and tones of experiments/activities thought out the night, one will never get bored. I had some experiences of my own witch I cant explain. One being where I was woken up with the feeling of being cut... More

The kids and I had a great time on the ghost tour. Our guide Mel had some fantastic stories to tell that were kid friendly but exciting to experience. I've lived in the area most of my life but never had visited before nor understood the history. Thanks so much Mel for the spooky night!

Loved the Ghost Tour at the Quarantine Station! The Quarantine Station is an amazing piece of history located a stone's throw away from Manly. We enjoyed some drinks and dinner at the bar prior to the tour at 9pm. Definitely recommend it as a nice place to chill out as the sun is going down. The actual tour lasted around... More

I managed to talk my wife into doing the ghost tour at the Quarantine station. She's thanking me now!!! Boy what an intense experience. We were treated to first class service by our tour guide who was knowledgeable and helpful. I won't go in to too much detail but to say that if you don't believe in ghosts then this... More

The Quarantine Station would have to be one of the most amazing historical pieces of our history of immigration, in a stunning location but with a somewhat sad but very interesting story. The buildings are so beautifully preserved and the landscape a unique outcrop in Manly. The night time Ghost Tour was not that sensational but certainly a unique tour... More

The tour was excellent and creepy. We heard knocking in the hospital. Don't know who or what it was. Enjoyed the history and the many stories on the tour. Be aware there is a lot of walking up and down hills etc. Our main problem was getting back to Sydney. It was harder because it was a Sunday night. The... More

Wow! I got here and found the etched wall to which History was inscribed, showing the people that had arrived, would you believe one of the first ships here held my fathers last name! That alone was spooky! Talk about history, The rest of the tour was pretty cool I loved the history and tales that went along with the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
