An amazing place to visit and to become immersed in history. Learn all the facts about how our early travellers were treated and how they lived while in quarantine.

We did the standard evening ghost tour with some friends; a mixture of believers and sceptics. Even the sceptics acknowledged that the history you learn on the tour (and in the museum) imbues the place with a certain gravitas that belies the natural beauty of...More

An interesting and intriguing place to visit in one of the most beautiful areas in the whole world, Manly. I actually stayed in the hotel for a few nights over a business trip. I wouldn't rate the ghost tour high, but the site itself is...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

Ferries leave from Circular Quay in Sydney to the Manly Pier, you can walk to the Quarantine station from the Manly Wharf but it is a fairly steep 40 minute walk.
