Nice place to visit plenty of food outlets and things to do. The beach is ideal and safe for the children to play lifeguards on duty. Well worth a visit with cheap parking close to the sea front.

We thought the place needs up grading . The staff on the rides are grim, dirty and look bored.The rides don't come cheap even for little ones.

Lovely beach, clean, litter free city. Pleasure beach was a bit small but our 10 year old loved it, gift shops need updating but a lovely day out

I haven't returned to Barry Island since visiting as a child myself. Today I took my daughter, she is only 3months old but enjoys long walks in the pram. Walking along the promenade was wonderful, we were able to walk right around to Barry Docks...More

I've never used the beach huts, but I would assume the use of BBQs is a bad idea as many passerby and kids! Why not ask the people you are hiring from? HFB
