We hadn't known this place existed until we visited Knighton and chose to go on a rainy morning. They have tours at set times but it is a working observatory and not a "tourist attraction" as such. If you are interested in things to do...More

We phoned up early to get 4 places on the 1030am tour which cost £7 per adult. It was absolutely fascinating and a well delivered tour by a very interesting guy. It's unbelievable that this organisation is run independently and cannot even get lottery money....More

Engaging, well structured talk as the tour party moved through different parts of the building (about 1.5 hours) which made me realise just how little I know about space! Accessible to a layman and fascinating to see how it all works. Visited with children aged...More

We turned up about half an hour before the next tour and considered driving away. I'm glad we didn't, despite being informed that the tour may not suit our younger two children, they all enjoyed it and found it to be an informative and engaging...More
