Whitesands bay is one of the nicest beaches in Wales, with views out to the islands of Ramsey and the Clerks and Bishops. Plenty of room for every family to spread out, particularly when the tide is out. Loved by surfers and windsurfers.

Why the complaints about high car park charges plus extra charges to visit the toilets? Whitesands Bay is the main local beach for St Davids. St Davids does not welcome visitors, especially out of season. The message from high charges is clear: stay away. You're...More

We visited gere recently whilst on a trip from St David's, obviously being winter it was empty but i can imagine it would be packed during the summer months, well worth a visit then.

A really lovely beach, with ample parking and great views over the Irish Sea. It’s especially good in winter, for a nice bracing walk.

We love the lakes (Cumbria) until we discovered Wales The welsh coastal paths mesmerising....although the weather wasn’t that good but it didn’t bother us. Breath taking scenic views absolutely a must for anyone that loves walking. We parked at the information centre at St David’s...More

A wet and windy November day with a threatening dark sky - the sands were wet and exposed and we enjoyed a fantastic and dramatic walk in front of the crashing breakers. Great!

My recollection is that wheelchair access would be possible, but I think it might be unsafe as there is no ramp.
