Purchased by the local community in 2017 this traditional 'pub' now has 200 owners and has undergone extensive modernisation but without losing an ounce of character. Sited on the location of an old slate quarry rail station it is the highest pub/restaurant in the Preselis...More

This is a fabulous piece of history, saved by phenomenal local effort, that is worth a visit because of the unique, quirky building. It's a shame that such a great place is spoiled by shambolic organisation and almost non-existent customer service skills. On arrival, the...More

Enjoyed a seriously good lunch with friends and was delighted with their choice of real ales. This a pub that has been taken over by a local community group, so naturally has a warm welcoming atmosphere. It is a genuine local with good stories to...More

Second visit to the pub and first since the community have taken over. Still as quirky as before. Full of character. This time managed to take the family cycling around the nearby quarry trails to build an appetite. Food was OK but this is not...More

Having visited this delightful and slightly quirky pub in the past we were keen to experience it under community ownership. Sadly they will have to work harder if they want to retain customers. The lady behind the bar was less than welcoming and more interested...More

We love this place. Amazing views, food at reasonable prices and lovely people. Plus we got the opportunity to practice our welsh with the staff and locals! I was so proud to order my meal completely in Welsh. I love the Welsh music, I love...More

They refused to serve us because my partner is not English. Feeble excuses from the management, claiming the chef asked for no more orders. There was 8 adults in the entire place. Who were even served drinks before they'd sat down. Bad management, rude waiters,...More

Tafarn Sinc do allow dogs in a section of the bar by one of the log fires. You can enjoy a meal and get warm alongside your dogs. Hope this helps
