Awful weather (sideways rain!) the day we visited Pembroke so we went in the castle. Pembroke castle must be one of the most intact and impressive looking castles in the country. Reasonably priced to go in too! Although the weather was awful there are plenty...More

We are very economical with scheduling castles, given their number in the UK. This one well worth the time given quality of the tours and insights to design and history. We found the structure (particularly the stonework in the roof) of the Keep most fascinating....More

The guided tour with Gareth is absolutely riveting. He's a gifted story teller. My 7 year daughter said ' history at school is boring but that was amazing!' It's about an hour and a half but she was at the front listening all the way...More

Wonderful castle - the history of the castle is very well presented through out the grounds. It was really informative and enjoyable to wander around reading what formed the castle and the families and battles involved. Very educational but inan innovative way.

Great history facts posted throughout the grounds, definitely take time to read through them. Some of the steps leading up to the towers may be a bit much for little ones. Great time, awesome history, definitely worth a visit

I'm hoping to see the castle, but planning on arriving on the ferry with a backpack, and leaving by train. Is there anywhere to leave my backpack while I see the castle?

Hi Carolyn, yes, we have a casket in our video room that we lock backpacks into all you need to do is ask the shop staff as you pay for your ticket if you can lock your backpack in there. Hope you enjoy your visit Jon
