This is one of the best campsites I've stayed at. The best feature of this site is its location next to the beach, which is also one of the problems during periods of bad weather. It has a simple yet functional toilet block, which is...More

I stayed with my Husband and 2 children (10,5) in our tent alongside our friends family of 7. We stayed right at the end near the pub so kept ourselves to ourselves. The campsite is basic but the toilet blocks were adequate and had electric...More

We visited some friends over the bank holiday and stayed in a field very high up as they had a mobile home. Fantastic view and very good value for money!

Watch the weather forecast if you're planning to stay here. Always flooding so be prepared. You may need your swimming gear sooner than you think. That said in good weather a lovely place to stay.

Could the owners please come and address the worst rated views please? It would be interesting to read their explanation on how jill t lymm was treated.I personally would not recommend a site who is NOT caravan friendly. Motor homes are ok?.I await the reply as I do camp as well with my friends and our families and we are looking for a good site for next year as the rest of this year is booked with our trusty old caravan. If there is no reply, I will have to take jill t's word as true and most definitely recommend people NOT to go near the place.

Hi, I'm a single mum to two boys under 6 looking to go with another single mum and her two under 6. Neither of us drive and we are looking to camp with the absolute bare minimum. I understand that there is a costal bus and nearby shops and cafes. We are looking for an adventure. Somewhere to explore so all we really want is a base and somewhere to play. Can we realistically do this or do we really need a car boot and trailer full of stuff?
