I detest zoos, but ended up here on a cold, miserable November morning because almost every attraction was closed for the winter. The facility consists of a tropical area with several species of butterflies, a small room with about 5 bird cages, a room with a few tanks containing reptiles and a room with a few spiders and insects. There... More

This is a deservedly very popular venue for accompagnied children ( say 3-9 years old). There is an indoor soft play area and outside giant bouncing castle as well as the usual swings, see saws and climbing frames but the main attractions are the meerkats, the butterflies, birds, small farm animals, snakes and insects which children love. It is an attraction... More

The butterfly enclosure was pretty good as was the rest of the insects and indoor areas. There is a play area but it was raining so the kids didn't get a chance to use it. The rest of the park is ok but not brilliant and the Meerkats are behind glass so it is difficult to get photos, This is... More

Straight off - we did not visit the nature world side but only the cafe. We did not have to pay to get in so full marks for the lady on the till. Cafe was clean, well staffed and served an excellent array of lunchtime snacks. We plumped for sandwiches, which came stuffed with filling and with a small salad... More

enjoyed our walk around Pili Palas. The Butterfly enclosure was one of the best I've visited. All the rest was very average.

Disappointing , no map and some things not sign posted , only sign post for one thing and others down same way. No staff in play gym, only suitable for 5 an under, if wet weather very little on. Halloween villain treasure hunt very tricky. We gave up we had a 4 and 6 year old. Rabbit petting, consisted of... More

A smallish establishment with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The main attraction is probably the butterfly house but here are other attractions including a bird house, a snake house. meerkats, a bug zone, a farmyard, lizards and an outdoor and indoor play area. Very much enjoyed by the whole family and a reasonable entrance fee whereby you can revisit... More

Really family friendly place, it's probably aimed for small children but me and my partner still have a very good time (we are all big kids at heart) Went during half term and was not over busy could easily walk around and stop and pet animals with out feeling rushed, at around £8 entry for an adult well worth the... We visited here with our 4month old for an afternoon out. Tickets were priced at £7.50 an adult and included return visits for the rest of the week - very good value. The attraction offers a small butterfly house, a small reptile area, small insects area, small pet and farm animal yard, a park and a short nature trail leading... More
