We really enjoyed the gallery, especially the Kyffen Williams gallery. Really well set out and a great space. The cafe was ok, enjoyed our mains but went back for tea and cake later which was massively over priced and our lemon meringue pie was still frozen which is not pleasant. Worth a visit especially for the galleries.

Oriel Ynys Mon is a great gallery space, with permanent exhibitions and a changing exhibition space. The gallery also offers a great cafe and gift shop. The staff are friendly, and the area clean, bright and fresh. The whole building has great wheelchair access, a steep slope but nothing to bad. You do feel very watched in the exhibition rooms... A pleasant combination of area Museum and Picture Gallery. It has a mixture of permanent and temporary exhibitions suitable for the academic and children alike. The Tunnicliffe and Kyffin Williams exhibits should not be missed. Unfortunately the exhibit about a famous local ship disaster failed to function correctly but otherwise we had a fascinating time. The Arts Centre lies a mile... More

I called here on the way back from a coastal walk as I had heard good reviews of the coffee shop. What a pleasant surprise, the whole place is clean, modern and the coffee shop is excellent. The exhibitions were well laid out, enough to maintain interest but not so big as to be overwhelming. There's a lovely shop too... More

As the title suggests "Blas Mwy" the Oriel's Tea Room / cafe translates roughly into English as irresistible", this could be a description of their afternoon tea for two. A choice of Sandwiches, we had the delicious thickly sliced ham and tuna on fresh brown bread ( the ham was delicious and could very well have been home made) Fresh... More

This is a charming place to visit on Anglesey. There is a free permanent exhibition which can easily absorb a couple of hours (with kids)as well as regular art exhibitions that are also free. Cafe there is quite busy..a bit pricey but the quality is very good. Souvenir shop is trying to be up market, sadly only up market prices... More

This artist used a range of media for his art so would liked to have seen more of his work and particularly his oils. The gallery made a lot of not a lot. Reasonable cuppa and Welsh cake in cafe.

choice of sandwiches were limited.Had to choose what sandwich one filling for all sandwiches which was very disappointing as someone who enjoys an afternoon tea i have never been made to choose only one sandwich filling. otherwise the cakes were very nice and i couldn't fault the scones, and tasted as though they were home made and not brought from... We had an expedition to find the gallery one Sunday afternoon as our friend Rhian has an exhibition on. It's quite easy to find, even if you leave your leaflet at home! Plenty of car parking and a nice modern building with a number of exhibition rooms. The Tuncliffe and Kyffin Williams being particularly worth seeing. Excellent shop with lots... More
