Perfect for young families. Toilets, cafe, ice cream shop. The tide was in for much of our visit and we enjoyed crabbing over the wall for the first time which was great. The boys (5 and 8) loved it. There is still plenty of sandy beach to...More

This is an excellent sandy beach with easy parking and easy access from the main road. It's fairly unspoilt, so not many facilities. Good promenade to walk along, as well as walks on the damp sandy beach.

Love this beach. Always friendly dog owners to chat to. I prefer it out of season as less tourists about and sometimes it seems you have the beach to yourself. Great place.

Full of dogs, the beach has a big problem with dog feaces, absolutely disgusting. Dogs should be kept on leads, very annoying.

Visited here for the day. Clean beach, no dogs allowed during summer, organised games for children, places to eat and walks.

Benllech is so beautiful and the views are stunning out to sea. A long sandy beach and costal walks.

Called into Benllech beach whilst driving around the coastline of Anglesey. Unfortunately it was wet and windy whilst there and couldn’t really enjoy the large open sandy beach and shoreline. Looks a very nice beach and good for swimming when weathers better.

Dogs are allowed on a section of the beach but it’s easier to go along the cost a few miles to Red Wharf Bay as we discovered

I'm afraid I can't help you with a recommendation as I haven't stayed at any of the campsites in the area but maybe the Visit Anglesey website might be of some help to you. They are also on Twitter. Or ask Keith at Anglesey... More
