Fortunately we were the only visitors so we had a good look around without feeling we were getting in the way. Amazing insight of how things used to be in a courtroom. Well worth a visit.

Staying nearby, we decided we would visit the Courthouse and avail ourselves of the combined entrance ticket with the Gaol situated about 10 mins walk away. Unlike the Gaol, the Courthouse was very well laid out, aided by the informative handheld audio guide which gave...More

I visited the courthouse many years ago and although the interior has remained in its beautiful preserved condition I felt very disappointed to be given a audio guide rather than the guided tour we had at previous visits. Still well worth going and having a...More

We visited Beaumaris Courthouse on a rainy day and it was an excellent visit. The courthouse isn't large but there is an audio tour with over 20 points of interest. You can wander through the rooms at your own pace stopping to find out more...More

Really enjoyed the audio guide that accompanied this, loved the fact that we could access all areas as such. Being able to sit and imagine really took us into the past. Been brilliantly restored.

Spent an hour at this location and found it very interesting. Entry price includes audio ! good use of story boards to depict local issues relevant to the times, would be good to see more reference material available to research if possible.

My husband and I visited and we loved it. I would advise to take the audio guide as it’s very informative. You have the opportunity to touch and sit on the bench or beside the judge or in the witness box. Very much a hands...More
