The course is fantastic and suitable for all abilities. We rented 2 cottages for an overnight stay celebrating a friends 'Big Birthday'. From our first communication with Linda to check out we received first class treatment. On arrival signing in was straight forward and buggies were waiting for us. The accommodation was being cleaned so the pro actually arranged for... More

Forgot to mention that i played here on 10th June earlier this year, Dont know why i forgot because its a memorable golf course in what is stunning surroundings, even if you dont play golf its still worth going just to see how the gentry once lived in this beautiful setting. Its a great shame to see the old country... More

Met with a family party for a buffet lunch. For £10 a head we had sandwiches, cakes, chips , and coffee. All very average. The venue was beautiful and our waitress fine . Other than that we received no greeting or contact with any other staff. It was a bit like an Agatha Christie novel where you are all ushered... More

A golf course you would love to be a member of. Mr Rolls {rolls/Royce} family lived here a long time ago. Original house a big feature. Course cut into a Welsh forest which has it all, Water /Trees / Bunkers / Lakes, fairways like greens and greens like snooker tables. Not for the faint hearted but if you play golf... More

Played golf here sat 9th July. What a great course! Well planned out, using the trees to make a straight forward hole a testing one, the 12th comes to mind with 2 very large oak trees. Course was quite busy with 2 society groups either side of us, but everything was fine, no waiting on tees at all. Greens were... More

We attended a friends wedding just yesterday where we experienced poor service from most of the staff all day. As one of the ushers I had a hand in trying to sort numerous things in the morning where I found the staff to be very unhelpful and the customer service was poor. This continued right through to the evening with... More

Course was challenging but very enjoyable and in great condition. All staff from the proshop and clubhouse were friendly and efficient. Excellent bar meal after golf. Would happily return

16 of us descended for a game of golf while in the region. Although there had been a lot of rain, the course was very playable and I look forward to playing it again however there are no course guides available and there is nothing on the course to help understand each hole with only 150 markers in place.

What a location, what a building, what wonderful staff! As a wedding venue it is second to none, they even timed the weather to be perfect for when guests wandered outside to enjoy the gardens and rolling views. Wedding breakfast food was extremely well cooked and delicious. Staff always attentive but not obtrusive. Other than our own, it's the best... More
